Born 1987 Jesse Ekholm is a Helsinki based cinematographer with over five years of experience in professional DP work, including commercial, documentaries and narrative work.
Jesse is fluent in Swedish, Finnish and English, and has mostly been working in Finland but has also done jobs abroad in the United States, South Africa and Japan.
He specializes in moody modern cinematography. And through his background in animation he has a deep knowledge of VFX work, compositing, matte painting and tracking.
His strongest visual influences come from the films: Alien 1979 (Ridley Scott), The Thing 1982 (John Carpenter) & Fallen Angels 1995 ( Wong Kar Wai)
